Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Rava/ Sooji / Semolina
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Milk
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
- Few Saffron strands
- Assorted nuts of your choice
Method
- Put together rava, ghee, milk, sugar, chopped nuts in to cooking pan.
- Mix together and cook over medium heat.
- Continue to cook over medium high heat until mixture comes together like thick dough and starts to leave out this sides of pan.
- Pour mixture in to greased dish, spread out mixture evenly.
- Garnish with sliced almonds or pistachios.
- After mixture cools down, cut that in to desire shape!
Tips
- Use fine variety of sooji and not Upma Rava.
- Be sure to cook over medium heat stirring consistently.
