Rava cake recipe


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Rava/ Sooji / Semolina

  • 1/2 cup Ghee

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 2 cups Milk

  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder

  • Few Saffron strands

  • Assorted nuts of your choice


Method

  • Put together rava, ghee, milk, sugar, chopped nuts in to cooking pan.

  • Mix together and cook over medium heat.

  • Continue to cook over medium high heat until mixture comes together like thick dough and starts to leave out this sides of pan.

  • Pour mixture in to greased dish, spread out mixture evenly.

  • Garnish with sliced almonds or pistachios.

  • After mixture cools down, cut that in to desire shape!

Tips

  • Use fine variety of sooji and not Upma Rava.

  • Be sure to cook over medium heat stirring consistently.
