Ingredients
( 1 ) 500 grams nylon poha (or hajikhari poha)
( 2 ) 2 cup groundnuts
( 3 ) ½ cup roasted chana dal (daliya)
( 4 ) Oil
( 5 ) A few curry leaves
( 6 ) 7 to 8 green chillies
( 7 ) 2 tea spoons sesame seeds
( 8 ) 1 tea spoon red chilli powder
( 9 ) 1 tea spoon turmeric powder
(10) 3 table spoons sugar (powdered)
(11) Cashewnuts
(12) 2 tea spoon citric acid
(13) 4 to 5 papad
(14) Salt to taste
Method
( 1 ) Roast the rice flakes. Fry groundnuts, daliya and then add it in rice flakes.
( 2 ) Heat 3 table spoons of oil for seasoning. Add curry leaves,
chopped green chillies, sesame seeds, red chilli powder and turmeric
powder. Add rice flakes, groundnuts and daliya.
( 3 ) Add'sugar, cashewnuts, raisins, citric acid, salt and roasted papad. Mix well.
Variation
( 1 ) For making papad poha, fried or roasted papad may also be added.
( 2 ) Garlic papad may also be added.
