Apple Halwa Recipe

Ingredients

(1) 2 apples
(2) 2 table spoons ghee
(3) 1 litre milk
(4) 150 grams sugar
(5) 1 lime
(6) Cardamom powder as desired

Method

(1) Wash, peel and chop the apples. Roast the pulp in 1 table spoon of ghee till it gets cooked. Add the milk.
(2) When it thickens, add sugar and lime juice. When it thickens, add 1 table spoon ghee and the halwa remove from the flame.
(3) Add cardamom powder. Spread the mixture in a greased dish.
