Ingredients
( 1 ) l½ cups grated corn
( 2 ) ¼ cup corn seeds
( 3 ) 1½ to 2 cups water
( 4 ) 2 to 3 table spoons butter
( 5 ) 2 table spoons maida
( 6 ) 2 cups milk
( 7 ) 2 table spoons sugar
( 8 ) ¼ tea spoon pepper powder
( 9 ) ¼ cup cream or malai
(10) Salt to taste
Method
( 1 ) Grate the corn. Add 1½ cups of water to it. While add ½ cup of water to the corn seeds and cook in a pressure cooker.
( 2 ) Cool a little and blend the grated corn in a liquidiser and strain.
( 3 ) Add the corn seeds to it along with the water. Mix well.
( 4 ) Heat the butter in a vessel and add the maida to it. Mix well. Go on adding gradually the milk with constant stirring.
( 5 ) Add the corn paste to the prepared white sauce.
( 6 ) Add sugar, salt and pepper powder.
( 7 ) Serve hot with a topping of fresh cream.
