Ingredients
( 1 ) 1 cup rawa
( 2 ) ½ cup curds
( 3 ) ½ tea spoon soda
( 4 ) A pinch asafoetida
( 5 ) 1 table spoon oil
( 6 ) ½ tea spoon mustard seeds
( 7 ) 1 tea spoon sesame seeds
( 8 ) A few curry leaves
( 9 ) 3 green chillies
(10) 2 table spoons grated coconut
(11) 3 table spoons coriander leaves (finely chopped)
(12) Salt to taste
Method
( 1 ) Mix rawa, salt, soda and asafoetida, Make a batter using enough water. Make dhokalas immediately.
( 2 ) Heat 1 table spoon oil for seasoning. Add mustard seeds, sesame
seeds, curry leaves and green chillies (finely chopped) to the oil when
the dhokalas are done pour the seasoning over it.
( 3 ) Decorate with grated coconut and finely chopped coriander.
Note : If the dhokalas are not soft enough, a little more soda may be added.
