Ingredients
( 1 ) 4 cups chana dal
( 2 ) 1 cup urad dal
( 3 ) 200 grams cabbage (grated)
( 4 ) 3 onions (grated)
( 5 ) 2 tea spoons ginger-chilli paste
( 6 ) Oil
( 7 ) Salt to taste
Method
( 1 ) Soak both the dais separately for 8 to 10 hours.
( 2 ) Grind them into a fine paste. Add all the vegetables and other ingredients.
( 3 ) Keep the batter thick. Make vadas like medu vada or make them in the vada maker.
Note : Serve hot with sambhar, coconut chutney and coriander chutney.
